Step by step to convert USDT from ERC-20 Blockchain to Solana Blockchain using Sollet wallet
Sollet.io Wallet is an open source wallet on Solana Blockchain. The wallet allows you to connect to projects built on Solana, store, send and receive SOL and other SPL assets such as SRM (SPL), USDC (SPL), RAY (SPL), …. Besides, you can also convert ETH into SOL as well as ERC-20 tokens into SPL tokens right inside the Sollet wallet.

If you already have a wallet, then follow the steps below
There is some important noted:
- Make sure you have SOL in your wallet. Cause SPL tokens, such as Serum (SRM), USDT(SPL),… are a sub-wallet of the SOL wallet and there will be add a fee by SOL to update the contract creation. The address of the SOL wallet and each sub-wallet of each different token is completely different. This is different from the Ethereum Network where different ERC-20 tokens are contained in the same address.
- Click (+) on the menu of your account to add other SPL tokens. Each time you add a new token wallet, you will lose a small fee for Smart Contract (currently 0.002 SOL).
A popup screen will open which will contain three options: Popular Tokens, ERC20 Tokens and Manual input.
Select ADD USDT Tether (USDT). Be careful not to confuse with Wrapped USDT (Sollet) (wUSDT).After that, you need to add check these information:
- Token Name: USDT
- Token Symbol: USDT
- Token Address: Es9vMFrzaCERmJfrF4H2FYD4KCoNkY11McCe8BenwNYB
Approve in Sollet.io wallet to create USDT Tether (USDT) wallet, waiting for the transaction confirmed.
In your main account Balances click on USDT.
Click on the receive button.
Click connect to MetaMask then confirm on your MetaMask wallet for connection to Sollet.
Input amount USDT you want to convert from Meta Mask to Sollet Wallet and click “Convert”.
Approve connections on your MetaMask wallet.
Confirmed your transactions.
Waiting for your transactions completed.
When the transaction is completed, you will see the USDT in the SOL wallet.
